The latest version of PIXEL FACTORY™ is being rolled out to our customers!
The new version is even more interactive than before, with two new editors.
|
|
Mosaic Editor
 |
PIXEL FACTORY™ now has a dedicated online mosaic editor that lets you display your final mosaics in real time and create and edit masks used to make radiometric adjustments.
This tool greatly reduces the time needed to touch up mosaics thanks to a range of features designed to assist users. These include the ability to see the overlap of a zone to be replaced or the “see-through cursor”, which lets you view which zones need to be corrected. |

DSM Editor
 |
This new module lets you see the impact of editing changes immediately, not only on the elevation image but also on the orthoimages you can create of an area. This avoids having to wait while editing filters process your digital surface model.
You can now also adjust all filter parameters - previously accessible only non-interactively - directly in the viewing window, which provides several display modes (grey scales, illumination, hypsometric image or a combination of all three).
This first version of the DSM editor provides masking, filtering of buildings and interpolation features as well as DSM-to-DTM conversion. Other functions and filters are already in development. |

Second Generation Mosaic version 2
 |
The SGM module, already present in version 3.2 of PIXEL FACTORY™, has been enhanced to allow an existing database to be updated while performing all steps in the fabrication process automatically. The block triangulation and radiometric adjustment processes have been redesigned to make them more robust for a broader range of sensors.
For example, you can now generate a geometrically and radiometrically uniform mosaic from an existing reference—a key step in change-detection processes.

Other new features
 |
Many other features have been upgraded to give PIXEL FACTORY™ users an even better, more robust tool.
For example, the entire processing chain has been adapted to support high-precision DSMs. Support for the JPG 2000 format has also been added in response to the many requests received from users.
